Trained with members of Suicide Kings, did a few exercises in concealed movement, target acqusition, defense against larger forces, and an experimental "W" formation, the Airsoft-tailored formation it's creator Deviated Rationality boasts is phenominal for advancing on dug-in positions. While we all got a chance to try different roles, my favorite and most filled with kills, was when I held off a larger force with the SAW.

I also discovered an important design...flaw, I guess...in the A&K M249 Mk.II-- the buttstock is attached with two very small, dangerously placed pins, which are prone to coming out of position and essentially snapping the stock right off. I discovered this while trying out my new 3-point sling, which I was delighted to find fit the SAW, I guess just not in practice. The gun was easily fixed and held up surprisingly well, still holding out for the rest of the game. Still a solid gun in my book, but that discovery was not a pleasant one.

Yup, my Old CA M249 MKII had the same problem. Hence the reason I Almost Never ran a sling.
