I was asleep when the first plane hit. My dad came and woke me up and said "you should see this." I woke up, didn't know what was going on, then I saw the second plane hit. My dad said, "I hope we kill these f!@#$%rs that did this." Then he took me to school where everybody was talking about it. I was in 4th grade at the time and I remember my teacher had the news on and that's when we all saw the towers fall. She was in shock and most of us didn't really know what was going on. I remember during recess all we heard and saw were F16's and military helicoptors. I heard some teachers talking about the nuclear power plant out here in Arizona and how that might be a terrorist target. I didn't know what terrorists were or what was really going on. My parents told me what was really going on and then I remember a few days/weeks later that we were going to war. I remember watching the news and saw the planes hit over and over and over again and then the towers falling over and over and over. I remember watching the videos of people jumping out of the towers to escape from burning. When I think about this day it plays in my head like it was yesterday even though it's been years.
