maybe there is some competition with the 2 sports but anyone, whether they like paintball or airsoft, must agree that these girls are very lovely

There's nothing to compare here. If someone wants paintball let them be. We are airsofters and we don't need to examine the character or qualities of especially in order to discover resemblances or differences ourselves to paintball. No lo entiendo...

There is defenately a conflict here.
Simply because paintballers are afraid that airsoft is indeed catching up. Knowing a few people that take paintball seriously, they get pretty pissed off when people make the big move from Paintball to Airsoft. Keep this in mind, they're LOOSING players.
But dont forget, sometimes it goes the other way around.

Not only that, people really get misconceived by walmart pistols. Cybergun and Crosman shit you see on the shelves. They dont shoot anywhere near as effectively as actual airsoft guns do and break pretty easily, that, they're usually clear and baby toy plastic.

Paintballers like to use that to their 'advantage' (Or they'd like to think, anyway)
Since they've never handled a real airsoft gun before, They go on and bitch how all airsoft guns only shoot like 20 ft and dont hurt (Pain apparently makes their game better for some reason. Again, this comes from people that have never been shot by an actual airsoft gun... they do indeed hurt, but not as much as paintballs do)
Another is what their material is. Tokyo marui, unfortunately has had a pretty bad influence. While the internals are something close to miraculous. Theres always stories about how their plastic bodies break over time. and expecially for the fact that they are 'plastic'. Since TM is a very popular brand, there is a LOT of threads on forums about their external durability... Paintballer sees, Paintballer bitches.

Paintballers dont seem to take the time and research before they go on to the subject and bash away. They like the fact that their guns are made out of the same metal as an airplane (I've heard this come from many people in bashing threads... I'm not too sure if this is real) and can apparently shoot farther.
I've played paintball a lot before, simply because some of my co-worker buddies have a game every weekend or so. And since paintball guns lack a hopup, they simply dont have the accurate range an airsoft rifle has. It can indeed go farther and still pack a punch, but thats when you're holding the gun up at a 45 decree angle... That, and those huge paintballs dont exactly have great wind-resistance as the 6mm airsoft (Weighted, atleast) pellet does.

Another huge thing i've noticed is 'forum influence', and this is horrid for both sides, airsoft and paintball. And i'm pretty much making a point of this... Do I care? No, I'm ranting! Shush!
A lot of peopel loooove to post the 'betters' of their sports.
Paintballer
Your guns dont hurt! They only shoot 5 ft! My paintball gun can shoot 20 balls per second and can go out farther than a crappy plastic airsoft gun! You cant even fall on them or they will break! Mine is made out of a high grade metal so I can bash my buddy with it! Blah blah blah!.

Sometimes, they seem to think dressing up like the army is stupid and often go 'Buy a real gun if you want to play army" "Or join the army if you're so influenced to play like this"

Believe me, Go on youtube and scroll through the comments on airsoft videos, you'll find that a lot.

Now, for an airsofters responce. They usually go on:
Paintball is gay, You guys dress up like motocross bikers and hide behind inflatable objects. All of your players are really violent too! My gun has (Insert upgrades here) and can shoot 500 fps and waay farther than your crappy water gun looking peices of shit.

And the smart person says : I dont care for each sport, I prefer (Paintball or airsoft, or both in some cases) and I simply enjoy mine.

So, If anything, There is no better in each sport. Both are different and both seem to stray into eachothers 'territory' (I've seen speedball like airsoft matches on youtube, and i've seen very tactical, milsim paintball matches too.)
But in the end, if the person likes realism and tactics. Airsoft is for you.
If you like adrenaline rushes, pain and physical exhertion. Paintball is for you.
But again, you can do 'anything' with each sport and be happy.

Well, from a poor persons point of view. (mine)
I dislike paintball, mainly because of the high cost.
BB's are so damn cheap, and even though they suck, you can get airsoft guns for alot cheaper.
My friends and I, when i was up in Michigan, all had spring powered shit.
I have three crossman guns, a spring pistol (that has always served me well), a spring Mp5 (that kinda sucks) and a Co2 pistol, that serves me wonderfully.
A remington tac shotgun, that has always treated me great, and a full auto off brand ar-15, that still works great. Granted, put me up against someone with a gun that is alot better, and i will have to bust my ass off to be a challenge...but thats part of what I love about it.
I know theres a rivalry here.
I choose airsoft, not just because I am poor and I can play for very cheap (and just enjoy the hell out of it!), I find the challenge alot more worth it. I find you can be alot more tactical, and the added realism of the guns, just makes it all worth it.
I have nothing against paintball, its fun. Its too damn expensive, and Ive just never been able to enjoy it nearly as much.

I was attracted to airsoft over paintball for the "replica" nature of airsoft guns and the more realistic nature of Milsim games. I realize there are milsim paintball games these days but the guns still look goofy. Most paintballers dont play Milsim games. They run around in bright yellow jerseys and baggy pants. They call there guns "markers" in some sort of lame political compromise to appease the gun hating masses. Paintball cost more then airsoft generally...but as we all know you can spend boatloads on an airsoft loadout. I do think both of the pics posted in this thread are quite nice, tho Im way more attracted to a hottie in full combat camo gear who actually will play a game and SHOOT YOU!!!!

I want to try paintball. It's the fun i'm after anyway.

Hey I like the models you got there. Love it..

there are "kits" or parts for some branded "markers" so that they can actually look more like a CAR 15 or an AK... DUH? play airsoft if you wanna have a replica gun...

here in the philippines, a paintball cost 5 pesos each. 500 pesos will only get you 100 rounds.

a bag of 4,000 rounds of .20 bbs cost 300 pesos. that's .075 centavos per bb.

beat the high cost of satisfying your adrenalin rush.... play airsoft! :-)

Im an avid paintball player i play in local tournaments and i like airsoft in all respect im new to the sport but i understand why most paintballers hate airsoft is cause the ammo is just BB's and there plastic but not all paintballers hate airsoft. I like it for the guns realism which isnt in the sport of paintball well thats my opinion on the topic hope you like it

I played paintball for 18 years. During that time, I acted as field staff, coach, and game organizer and tourney player, and team sponsor. I even operated a small paintball shop.

After spending that much time in the sport, I gave it all up because it became more about who could cheat with out getting caught the best. Simply put, I gave it up because it became a game with out honor and integrity, exactly the opposite of everything we consider important in airsoft.

Consider this, one of the major factors in "Graig Hasting's paintball " video game is wiping paint, numerous videos feature players wiping paint in tourney, uniforms are specifically designed to allow a paintballs to "slide of", and regardless of ramping and BPS rules, manufacturers continually make "markers" and components that can be adjusted in the field.

As a PB ref, I saw and dealt with a lot of cheating... is just made me sick. I quite playing paintball and have never looked back.
Personally, I don't give a rip about how good PB girls look... I would rather play with an ugly AS girl than a hot PG girl any day of the week. But then, everyone looks the same in field gear ...lol

I may however give special consideration to certain "MilSim" and woods ball players...

I started out paintballing 14yrs ago now airsofting is my new passion. Youtube have vid-debates to what is better. Some are obviously bias & some unbias. I watch this one vid in which a " Woodsball player " called airsofters, " A bunch of wanna-bee pussys! ". http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bOrNy3mlZgo. . . This is coming from 14yr old kid whos was brandishing his Tippman M4!!!????(Who's a wanna-bee??) . . . .I have no probs with paintballing. I still have my " VM68 " & Warsensor M4. . . I haven't used it in ages, but there may be a day that I may use it??. . . I'm a dork-up & I favor airsofting more because it's realism. I don't care airsofting "isn't a real sport" as paintballers like to use. . . I think Speed ball is losing speed with Woodsball/Milsim gaining slow momemtum, but not as widespread as airsofting. . . .So back to the question,. . . ."paint ball players hate airsoft and airsoft players hate paint ball ... what do you think???. . .I like to believe that paintballers & airsofters really don't " Hate each other!" Everyone has a preference. Choose your poison!!!. . . . .Oh yeah I'll do those girls too!!!!
